Multiplayer: Game crash affected weapon accessories

I earned the Variable Zoom (14x) for the Scout Elite and the game crashed (on Dawnbreaker). I was never able to equip the attachment since then. The variable zoom shows in the customization screen as unlocked but cannot be equipped. I did lose a few dogtags gained from knifing other players as well but that is not a big issue. I would greatly appreciate any advice you can give on this issue, thanks!
