Solved

mvscp100.dll and msvcr100.dll missing

Hi guys,

I have read couple of comments about it on forum, but none of solutions were really helping.

Today i wanted to play the new dlc (night map and community), but the same 2 error mesages are poping when trying to join a server. Both files in the topic are said missing and needed to be reinstalled.

My pc is new (1month) running 64bit windows 10.

I have uninstalled all previous Visual C++ (2009,10 etc...) and reinstalled only the latest Visual c++ redistributable 2015 (x64) 14.0.23026;

But still having the same error message... maybe i was wrong uninstalling all previous ones?

Thx for helping me on this guys.

    Actually it is not a game folder that is missing. It's a windows app.

    Basicly i reinstalled all the c++ redistrbutable from 2010 version until 2015 and it is now working! 🙂

    i just tried to install them manually from the DLL website were we cam download each file... but a new error message came out saying application couldn't start. So i decided to remove both again.

    Looks like i'll have to reboot the al thing again... i will wait a little and see if anything comes out that would avoid me to re dl 50Go....

  • OP have you tried running a repair in Origin by right clicking the BF4 icon in Origin and selecting "repair"? I ask because that function audits your BF3 installation and replaced missing or corrupted files which may fix your issue.
