my 360 wired controller and razer orbweaver dont work together

Hi lordaragos,

Do you have the latest Razer drivers for your Orbweaver? I would recommend checking this as this may be part of the issue. 

Are you using a custom profile for your Orbweaver or is it just with the standard key maps?

My Son and I both had similar issues.

Orbweaver or Nostromo works but Joystick / Gamepad doesn't.

When trying to map keys with joystick or gamepad its like nothing is there.

My son has a Nostromo and a xbox 360 controller.

I have a Logitech extreme 3d pro joystick and an Orbweaver.

Both win7 64 bit, latest drivers.

Our solutiions are as follows:

Go into device drivers under Human Interface Devices.

Find the Driver marked Razer Orbweaver (Or Razor Nostromo) and disable it.

The supplied Razer software will still allow you to map the keys to the Nostromo / Orbweaver for use in BF4.

Then play BF4 and use the test range to remap ALL your controls for the gamepad / joystick.

This worked for me but Every default Joystick mapping in BF4 needed to be redone.

This worked for my son with his xbox controller and Nostromo, and ALL his controller settings had to be remapped.

I'm not 100% certain but I believe when the driver conflift is removed BF4 actually allows for several joystick type devices and thus joy1 default map may not work when the pad is joy2 or joy3.

There is still a bug with a joystick in that if my throttle is above 1/2 way as foot soldier my gun shoots till empty.

If throttle below 1/2 its in aim and I cannot run.

Only by fine tuning the 1/2 way point can I play normally as it should be.

You may not have this issue with gamepad.
