So I recently downloaded the game and its lagging a lot, even in main menu it works fine for 2 secs then suddenly fps drops to 0 and its stuck for a few secs and then this happen again and again. Even my giving it high priority from task manager nothing happened. Plus its only consuimg 500MB of RAM. My PC is fine every other game runs fine.
Oh btw The game i am talking about is Battlefield 4

Its a Core i3 4005U 1.7GHz boost 4.0GHz 8GB RAM, i know the processor might seem a bit low, but I used to play this game like an year ago, and it was fine. I redownloaded the game now and its giving me this issue now
Yes Sir everything is updated. Plus I play other games and they all work fine. The issue is just in this game. The fps jumps from 0 to 60 for 5 6 secs then again jumps from 60 to 0 fps for 5 secs
