my sound isnt coming out of my headphones

alrighty so i'll explain. i got a wireless afterglow headset. i launched battlefield 1 because i just bought it, and the sound is coming out of my monitor instead of coming out of my headphones. i tried to go in the settings and change my sound output to my headphones, restarted the game and it still doesnt work. please help me

    @ghwarriors Hmm, can you try disabling the monitor speakers then try again? You may need to reset your system, sometimes sound device changes don't stick. 

    If you right-click your speaker icon in the bottom left of your desktop, you can see your output devices, from there you can disable them if you need to.

    i just boy the sony MDR 1000X headphones and i cant get sound to work with the game.

    i can see youtube and play Diablo 3 with sound and steam works to. skype work but not BF1 NO sound at all.

    what to do i use the headphones with bluetooth
