Need help, ASAP.

Received the new Xbox One for christmas, first thing I did was download Battlefield 4 directly off the xbox marketplace for $70. Immediately was frustrated with the fact that it takes forever to find a lobby. Like am I the only person who bought this game? Found a lobby after trying every game mode several times, played a couple matches, and ran into another problem. After finishing in first place on several matches, I noticed I am still level 0 and have a whopping total of 0 XP. Like, I never played at all. I loved battlefield 2 and 3, so why does a next gen system and game bring so much bull**bleep**? I want this fixed. For $570 plus tax i want to know why the hell i can't find a game and when i do, i don't even get rewarded for my progress.
