Next_Gen Upgrade Help

I recently got a Xbox One and was wonder about the offer to upgrade from current-gen to Next-Gen:

1-Does this offer still stand?

2-Will my expansions and DLC content transfer over?

3-If they do not. since im premium, will i just be able to download them or will i have to buy them?

Yes the offer is still available if you are transferring from Xbox 360 to Xbone or PS3 to PS4.  If you are Premium, this will transfer the same as I stated before.  You will have to re-download your DLC to the new console, but since Premium transferred, it will all be free.

Be aware, that when you first launch the game on the next-gen console, it will ask if you want to transfer your stats.  THIS IS A ONE TIME DEAL ONLY, and if you pass it up, you will have to start from scratch all over again.  Premium will still transfer, but your stats will not if you pass up the ONE TIME opportunity.

I have just got an Xbox one and had a bit of a nightmare upgrading. I am based in uk running premium on 360. There seems to be so much confusing info on the forums some quite unhelpful or misinformed. I spend almost a day trying to sort it out. The problem seems to be in the base game. It's not backward compatible so the 360 disk will not load. The only way I could get it working in the end was to buy a new base game at £24.99, install it and then download all the premium add Ons which were for free as it recognised my premium membership ok. Only managed to get a couple of games in and got shot to pieces while I was just wowed by the improved sound and graphics an the number of users on each map. A pain to have to pay extra but I guess after playing 230+ hours on the game and loving it (although still rubbish) it works out as good value entertainment.

Nb I also downloaded a free Bf4 Premium ap/game/dlc which was only 8mb which may have helped. Also need to configure load outs back to how they were. Hope this helps but I couldn't find a cheaper way of upgrading.

Yes, you had to buy the game on the Xbone, BF4 is not backwards compatible from the 360 version.  Even if it was, you would be playing on Xbox 360 servers, and not the Xbox One servers.  You would have been limited to the 24 players like on 360.  So if you didnt purchase the base game on Xbone, you would never be able to play with more people, or friends that are playing on the Xbox One.  As for you wondering where the "upgrade deal" went, I am assuming you are referring to the one that allowed you to trade in your 360 copy and only pay $10 for the Xbox One copy?  If so, this expired LONG ago.  This was only available for a very short time after the Xbox One initially released.
