Solved

No players in the game

My friends and I have an issue when trying to play Battlefield 1 on the Xbox One.  One of my friends sets up the party and he then goes into Multiplayer/Quickmatch/Conquest.  This used to work fine but over the last couple of months we often find we are the only people in the game.  Literally the three of us and nobody else there.  We can join a game through looking through the Server List but these games aren't set up how we like.

What can we do to fix this issue?  Would it make a difference if I set up the party and went into the game first as I have a better internet connection?

  • Hey @MaffyG79,

Sorry to hear about this issue you're experiencing.

Are you saying that when you try to Quickmatch with your friends, it puts you in empty servers?

Unfortunately that happens sometimes, using Server Browser would be your best bet if you don't get into a match after trying Quickmatch a couple times.

If you'd like, you can try being the Party Leader like you've mentioned, and see if you have better luck getting into lobbies.

    Let us know.

    Thanks 🙂

The map loads and there's just the three of us running about without any opponents, teammates of flags.  When I play a game by myself I don't have this problem, I'm also in a game full of players.

We resort to Server Browser but then we end up in games where you have to score 2000 points - this takes an age and is dull as ditch-water when you're winning 1000-500 or so.  My latency is also about 300 in these games whereas it's 15-20 when we play without having to use the Server Browser.  This makes the games a bit * as what I see isn't what's happening, you have to shoot in front of where people are running so bullets will hit.
