No prompt to transfer Xbox 360 data to Xbox One

Hey guys,

Me and my cousin have recently got BF4 for christmas, we have both played on the XBox 360 and have our guns where we like them. My game immediatly gave me the prompt to transfer my saved data, my cousin on the other hand got no such promt and is now mad that he doesnt have any of his guns. We thought that if he played it it might alert the game and give him the promt. It did no such thing. Is there any way he can get his saved data back?
