Noobs

Why is it that I dished out $100 plus and invested alot of time since BF1 came out and now the free dlc are attracting new players that can kill me with one bullet from more than 50m away with a tors...

    There's no "equalizing" or damage modifiers in the game to balance player skill.

    Weapons do the same amount of damage no matter what player you are, your weapon don't do more damage if you are a noob.

    All balancing is done using map design, in game assets like Behemoths and team balancing.

I agree there is mush to be said about there about the game balance in general and the bullet damage system. But being as it is i guess i kinda got used to it after all the time i have spent playing. Dough most FPS games lack this we still choose to play them sometimes for the graphics other times just for the fun. You should try Operations Campaigns to unlock some treasure for a few weeks and im pretty sure you will be thrown around from left to right inbetween each round just by team balance and "having the right weapon for the job".

Thx I pretty much only play G operations. I almost have all there is to be had. See profile ps4 “luckybullitt”. I’m just pissed that my gameplay performance is sometimes hindered by “equalizing” if I can use the term, to permit newer players to enjoy the game. I somewhat agree with this. But if a player wants to join this late in the game he’s got teeth to grind and not at my expense in time and money, i.e. price of game, premium/season pass, etc... In layman terms if tou want to play div 1 football but you’re div 3 quality, you need to step up your game. It’s not the div 1 players to play down to div 3 level. That’s my point! I’d like a response or input from EA or DICE.

      I don’t want to drag this on. It’s a theory from what I’m experiencing. Some direct one vs one situations I should’ve had the clear advantage, (31 ping 100% life vs similar ping 100% life in my region server same class, very similar damage per hit weapons) even if I land a headshot which clearly is indicated by hit sound and visuals and he doesn’t hit me in the head I somehow don’t win the one on one to a rank 80 to around 100 or lower. I even looked at my captured video. Some other matches whether conquest or I usually play grand ops, I haven’t much of an issue but some matches was just clearly unacceptable in servers where there wasn’t many above 100 rank.
      Also, if this were the case I would’ve most likely complained months or several patches ago about what I’m experiencing, before all the noobs getting their free expansions. Just my opinion and frustration. Game 80$ season pass $50 or close to that I don’t remember and I get cream by level 4’s when I land two good shots with peacekeeper. Something’s fishy and I am writing about this because others have noticed it and questioned it according to their experience also during chat and platoon parties and I just decided to inquire and see if anyone else at rank 150 or close has had these cases/experiences. Something changed since around may/june.

        Damage model of all the weapons in Battlefield 1 doesn't change based on your ping. Time don’t equal skill or even an advantage on the battlefield, just because you played allot doesn't mean you’re the best player out there.

        The experience that you are describing could be a network issue to the server, do you ever get any of the icons up in the right corner of the screen?
