Open tray problem

Question

My xbox 360 wont read Battlefield 4 i dont get the common disc error where it asks you to open your tray and clean the game. All it says is open tray on the little square, it says it's reading the disc then it just goes to open tray. I'm really frustrated because my xbox will read other games like GTA, cyisis, and Halo 4. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.
Edit: I also have cleared cache and deleted the updates.

what's the condition of your disc?

I just had it sanded and re-polished today.

did it work prior to you sanding and polishing it?

Yes until today, my disc was scratched up so i assumed that, that was the problem. However it didnt work after polishing it like i stated.

I'd say you may need a new disc. what you can try but probably won't work is to clear your system cache. to help prevent your discs from scratching its recommended you lay the 360 down instead of standing it up, and install the discs to the HDD if available. (still requires discs after installation)
