Didn't work. Followed the instruction to the goddamned letter. Still the same issue.
Try this:
- Ensure that your Firewall and/or Antivirus are not blocking the connection.The easiest way would be adding an exception for the Origin Client.
- Make sure your internet connection is not running through a proxy.Go to Internet Options in Control Panel > check the Connections tab and make sure the proxy server is not checked. Check the internet settings again after giving restart the PC.
- Clear Origin cache: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/clear-cache-to-fix-problems-with-your-games/
- Restart your PC.
- You need to perform a Clean Boot: http://help.ea.com/en/article/how-to-clean-boot-your-pc/
- Run the setup file Origin with Admin rights http://help.ea.com/en/article/how-do-i-run-a-program-or-a-game-as-an-administrator/#2
- Now go in Origin / MyGames tab,right click on game icon select Repair Game and then Check for Updates!
