overpriced battlefield 1

Hello people, Is it me or Battlefield 1 is bit overpriced... 50£ for standard pc version and 65 for deluxe. I think its bit rip off... Don't become greedy...

@Mindziaks - Games pricing is quite an interesting topic. In the end it comes down to what each individual person wants to pay for a game and only you can decide if it's of value to you.

In terms of being a rip off though this is a fairly standard price for a AAA game these days. Funnily enough this hasn't changed much for several years now.

Back when the NES was out I remember buying a Grand Prix game with my birthday money. It cost £59.99!! When I compare that to prices these days the price point hasn't moved much in 20~ years, which isn't bad at all.

Well I have been playing games for decades. Yes brand new games like division, battlefield 4, Rise of Tomb Raider and etc. Never paid for game more then 39.99 for Standard version. For Deluxe 49.99. So I don't know were you get your prices from. Have over 120 games in steam, origin, uplay.

I agree to part where you say only individually you can decide if game is worth money to you. Because nowadays games tend to come out with full of bugs, unfinished and unsatisfying (like Hardline or Watchdogs where one thing gets introduced on E3 and on release you get totally different). So therefore I hope to try Open beta before actually buying this. Had to many games already where I was disappointed (and it's not just many many games been on that road)

Probably now you will say something like (oh but these games aren't part of EA except Battefield) so we cannot talk for prices of another developer. But our prices been like that for ages... I know how it works 🙂

Plus I like being honest and state my opinion as this is what i believe.
