PC - Disconnected from Server

Getting a little frustrated here. I am absolutely sick to death of this

Ports forward,

Reset my router (NOT Reboot, RESET to factory and had to reset up my internet connection)
Clean booted,
Repaired battlefield,
Re-installed battlefield,
Tried Battlefield on my Girlfriend's computer (same specs as mine, same result)
Re-installed network drivers,
Switched between wired and wireless.

Battlefield 1 is the -only- game I have issues with. I can join maybe 20% of games and haven't been able to join the next round in weeks.

Really not enjoying my experience with this game. And I'm really Looking forward to the copy paste response from Level 1 tech support.  -_-

If someone actually manages to help me, I'll upload a video of myself eating a sock. Promise.

PS: I bought Deluxe through launcher when it was supposed to come with Season Pass and never got that either..

  • Hello @Kain_Mercer

Maybe it's strange, but some players with same issue were able to solve this by disabling DirectX 12 in video settings. Could you please check this ?

    Thanks!

  • PORT CONFIGURATION :

Open these ports on your router .
    80, 443, 5222, 9988, 17502, 20000-20100, 22990, 42127

    3659, 14000-14016, 22990-23006, 25200-25300

    SETUP A STATIC IP :

    https://portforward.com/networking/staticip.htm

1). Try to clean cash-memory through this https://help.ea.com/en/help/pc/how-to-flush-dns-cache-for-windows/

Do not forget about opening command Prompt from admin

    2). Check hosts file C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/972034/how-can-i-reset-the-hosts-file-back-to-the-default

3). Add exceptions in windows defender/firewall for all bf1 related things.

    4). Update drivers .

  • DX11 didn't work - Ports have been forwarded. IP is Static. DNS flushed, firewall disabled. Any other options? Would really like a reply from an actual customer service rep. After-sales service is non existent.

    Hello @Kain_Mercer

I am really sorry, all those troubleshooting steps failed to resolve this issue for you so far. Can you tell us, if this second PC, you were using to test the game, was using the same network, you are currently on? Also, playing on different servers made no difference for this issue? Keep us posted.

    Cheers,

    Archi

  • Alternative system is identical apart from Processor (Intel Skylake i5, Ryzen 1600X). Same network (accessed via USB adapter, PCI-E and ethernet cable, tested all 3)

Problem is persistent on all Battlefield 1 Servers.

    Hello @Kain_Mercer

Thank you for this additional information. I suggest you to get in touch with EA Advisers directly on this, since if using the same PC on the same network, you can get into game, using alternative account, there is something wrong with your particular account. Keep us posted.

    Cheers,

    Archi
