[PC] BF1 random frame drops and stutter every few seconds

Hi all. I decided to download bf1 after not playing for like a year. It's good fun except the frame rate tanks and stutters every few seconds. I've tried cleaning my computer, wiping caches, changing...

What GTX 1070 do you have? The driver you have installed is the latest one 397.93. I noticed anything past Version 390.65 from January of this year is not stable on Strix Cards and causes major FPS loss with my GTX 970 Strix. Different card but very similar issues. Try the older driver and see if that helps and doesn't hurt any other games you play.

    I couldn't tell you about the card other than it's a GTX 1070. I downloaded 388.7 or so from last December, but no dice
