@Hi all. I decided to download bf1 after not playing for like a year. It's good fun except the frame rate tanks and stutters every few seconds. I've tried cleaning my computer, wiping caches, changing to gaming mode, adding some files about "Gametime. drawaheadlimit" or something. Essentially I've looked all over and tried a lot with no success. I have a very powerful computer: i7 7700 HQ @ 2.8, GTX1070, 16gb of ram. Windows 10
Thanks!
I'd try to disable Origin in Game in both the Global Origin settings and under the Origin BF1 settings to see if that helps. One other thing that helps some people is setting an FPS limit of 61.

- HighSpeedJunki8 years agoSeasoned VeteranI just realized you are using a mobile processor ( i7 7700 HQ @ 2.8) which is not a bad thing but does change what could be causing the issue. Many people have posted success with disabling core parking on their cpu. If that is something you might be interested in I would google core parking and BF1 or jump right in and just disable core parking with this helpful utility which comes highly recommended. Hopefully the link is ok to post.
