PC Hard Crash/Restarts on Loading Screen

I am now 100% crashing any time right before I get to the loading/loadout screen. I cant not even load test range.  This started to happen a few random times in the past, but now in the last 7-ish days, its 100% of the time, I can not play at all. I dont have any error reports because my pc restarts, there is no event log except that it knows the pc crashed completly. Crashed so hard once it had to run chckdisk and repair.

windows 7 professional, service pack 1

i7-4770K not overclocked, liquid cooling

32GB Ram

2x GTX 550ti using SLI

I have done the following=

-fully updated windows

-newest gfx card drivers

-updated intel drivers

-reinstalled direct X

-repaired game

-run as admin

-using 64 bit exe

-disabled cloud

-disabled origin in game

-The only line I have in user.cfg is the showfps.1

-Framework 4.5 up to date

-Reinstall Microsoft C++

- I moved the Battlefield 4 dir out of my documents, repaired, launched and crashed again. The game only re-created the "screenshots" dir before it crashed again. There is now no "settings" dir inside mydoc/battlefield4.   (I can of course copy the old battlefield 4 dir back if I wanted) but it crashes no matter what.

Still crashing, wtf?

  • Lets try this..

Head to the Battlefield 4 installation folder, C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 4 by default, then find the _Installer folder.

In _Installer, navigate into the VC folder, then into vc2012Update3, and finally redist.

In redist, find both the x86 and x64 versions of VCredist.exe.

Run and install both versions, and your game should now launch without error.

Clean install is a pain not hard but time :/ Something has to be off on the PC still what did we not do on this. I need to read over everything again we did..

I was a huge win7 fan until I got win8.1 set up like win 7 lol. The thing I love most on win8.1 is it has the command line to refresh the PC and it can fix registry errors and you dont lose anything on the desk top. I am not saying go get win 8.1 lol not at all as windows is windows they all have issues lol.

This sec all I can think of is check to make sure every driver on the PC is up to date and make sure bios is up to date. And check the PC for bugs as well Norton is a hog to run but it is good and they do have a free trial on Norton360

When you crash what error do you get now? Have a look in event viewer for errors as well. We  need to fix this for you lol
