I have the installer location on a seperate drive already.
Have you tried to install the whole game on your hard disk?
is the ssd your os drive too, if so the temp dir will also be there, you could free up space by disabling hibernation mode and removing the hibernation file (anything from 4 to 32gb depending on ram installed)
in order to better help you, what drives do you have in your system
as a guide (on my system)
bf4 takes up 58gb
hardline is 47.7gb
