PC Lefty Controls are locking up all movement

[b]Issue:[/b] mouse input stops when pressing the J and K keys simultaneously. Cursor doesnt react till one of the keys is released.

[b]Reproduce:[/b] replace the standard key bindings for Chat All and Chat Team to some other keys, or empty them. Hit J and K simultaneously.

Because I'm a left handed mouse user, I want to use IJKL for movement instead of WASD. This issue prevends me from using it properly.

I have the exact same problem. No other bindings conflict and i don't know how to fix it.

I have issues posted about this on several beta forums, I'm not sure if it will ever get addressed since it affects so few of us but I think it is pretty game-breaking.

I use IJKL as my movement keys, J as stafe left and K as move backwards. Hitting both of these at once freezes my character. I can't move, I can't look, I can't shoot, I can't do anything. Releasing one or the other, and it goes back to being fine. However, I can't strafe back and to the left at the same time, and it really messes up my game play. Had my friend try rebinding his move keys to IJKL, froze for him as well.

i am left handed so i change the button configuration of BF4, my WASD is IJKL , but when i press K+J all my controls stop working included the mouse look, anyone now how to fix this or someone have the same issue?

This issue existed in the beta as well.  Very frustrated with this!

I tried telling the developers about this problem during the beta, but they never fixed it and it's still a problem now in the full version. Left handers usually bind their movement keys as I, J, K and L. Well, everything works fine EXCEPT when trying to move back and to the left at the same time (pressing J and K simultaneously). When doing this, the character stops moving and movement of the mouse stops. However, when moving in any other direction, everything works fine. So, pressing K and L (moving back and to the right) works fine with no problem. It's only when trying to press J and K together. I went through my key bindings to make sure nothing was duplicated and nothing was.

Please help!

THIS IS EXTREMELY ANNOYING. Not only is there a lockup upon pressing J and K but it affects your mouse AND doesn't stop until you let go of both buttons. You literally freeze while the game continues on around you.

It's an easily replicatable bug too, you can just bind the keys yourself to I J K L. Even if they are bound to NOTHING else it persists.

I've actually started numerous complaint threads about this myself in the beta and was heartbroken to find that the bug's made it through to Live.

I have just tested this and saw the same issue.

Do you have a gaming keyboard with anti-ghosting or N-key rollover to see if the issue persists with that type of KB?
