PC Premium Access but not able to play Naval Strike maps

Paid for premium access, but not able to play Naval Strike maps.  tried reloading/repairing Naval Strike.  Why does your game always have bug that is not easy to fix.  This should honesly be user repairable.  I have not had the same problem with any other DLC maps.  Even Dragons Teeth works fine.  WTH?

    1. Log out and fully exit Origin
    2. Open your Registry Editor - Type in regedit in the Search Menu and press Enter
    3. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Wow6432Node > EA Games > Battlefield 4
    4. Check for a folder named Xpack2 under the Battlefield 4 folder
If it exists -> Click on Xpack2, on the right pane see if there is a string named Installed. Double click on Installed
string and set the Value data to True
If it does not exists -> Right-click on Battlefield 4 select New then select Key
    - a new folder will be created, name it Xpack2
    - right-click on Xpack2 > New > String Value > name this string Installed
    - on the right-pane, double-click on Installed, set Value Data to True
    5. Exit Registry Editor

Now this is error is continuing to affect my Dragons Teeth and well personally I haven't had success using it, but I've seen others' game fixed so good luck!

I've tried the registry edit, uninstalls of both Origin client and Battlefield 4, repairing of the game, and yet still cannot access the DN DLC since its Premium launch. If anyone has any ideas how to fix that, please let me know.

  • You may check your registry to see if your computer recognizes it as installed content.

    - Windows + R key> type "regedit" > HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE> software> wow6432node> EA games> BF4> DLCs

-Once you're inside of there you should see XPACK0, XPACK1, and XPACK2 (Naval Strike)

Do you see that XPACK2 in there?

    Xpack0

    Xpack1

    Xpack3

Xpack2 seems to be missing.  so what is happening when i reload and repair the game during previous troubleshooting efforts?  Why dont those processes add that entry to the registry and load the content?

    DirstyChurky,

The real answer ended up being a combination of what you shared with the investigative description that was initially provided by the clown that never replied again.  Inside my Battlefield 4 folder I had to add "Xpack_" folder and files for the missing content that matched the other values for content that was working.  I also have a DLC folder where I had to do the same.

This whole problem just seems like lazy software development.
