[PC] Xbox ONE controller issue (axis Z)

Well, I have an issue with my controller.

I configured the keys correctly but whenever I try to aim and shoot, both get "cancelled". I can aim properly and shoot properly but not at the same time (just individualy aim and individualy shoot).

I was wondering why did this happen so I went to checking my controller properties, and they seem to work fine with the last driver update, but that is the broblem. Whenever I press

LT it gets Axis Z possitive, and when I press RT the Axis Z turns negative, but when I press both of them it gets exactly the same as if I weren't pressing anything, they are both cancelled and that is whats affecting my game (I think) wich is weird because in other Origing games (like battlefront) both triggers work perfectly fine.

Does anyone have a fix for this?

Thanks for any answer provided!

The controller is new and is an official pdp wired controller for Xbox ONE and PC. It works perfectly fine with games that support controlers automatically fut it has this problem when it requires manual configuration.

After a lot of tweaks I made it work on x360ce emulator (at first it had the same problem as BF 4) but I don't think x360ce works on BF 4, so I'm short on ideas.

    About your suggestions:

-Done, no changes. Is there a link to re-download the drivers manualy on a web browser?

    -Done, no change.

-I don't know if this is what you meant but I changed the RT for RB and it can properly shoot while aiming, though it is quite uncomfortable it's still playable.

Has it always been like this? If so there is a possibility that controller is not officially supported. Is it an official Xbox One controller or a copycat made by a third party manufacturer?

Here are some recommendations to see if we can get that fixed:

    • Unplug the controller and re-insert it. Check to make sure the drivers for it are updated.
    • Reset the bindings in-game back to default.
    • Set up the keybinding a secondary key instead of the primary.

I'm glad you're able to shoot when you have the buttons changed up.

To update the driver for your controller it should be located under Control Panel>Hardware and Sound>View devices and printers.
