this is catalist v13.12, not 100% sure if it works for 4800 series, does work for 5800.

Thanks for the reply, but it's listed that this driver version doesn't support Radeon HD 4800 card.

I've tried to install it, but there is no result((

This is interesting as i am running a 4800 with windows 8.1 and have had no issues ?

This issue has rised after recent game update. Did you apply it?

What drivre version do you have?

The update broke my updated driver too. I will try to re-install it and see what happens..

Yes.......i have this problem also, in that when i load up BF4 i get a warning saying i need to upgrade my driver to AMD version 13.12.............but as others have said here, i too have a AMD HD4800 series graphics card, and the latest suitable version driver for that card is AMD driver 13.9...............which i have.

BF4 says anyone that doesnt use the latest AMD driver will have issues with the game, but the HD4800 graphics card seems to cope with the game ok, and meets the gaming minimum requirements.

I do have some issues with BF4 like stalling in some of the video segments of the game, but that is probably down to the fact i need more memory for the game.

Anyway, back to the driver issue..........it is annoying to keep getting this message when loading the game, and you have to ok it just to proceed everytime.

It gives one the impression that your computer wont work properly with the game..........though as others here have said the warning only appeared after the last BF4 game update.

I dont dare download the AMD driver 13.12 just in case it  *****  up my computer.

So DICE and EA does your message have any relevance to us HD4800 series users........or is it a false flag????????

Mind you, if i was to consider a graphics card update in the future............could anyone give me a list of graphics cards which can directly replace the HD4800?

Hi, i have the same problem w unexist 13.12 drivers for my radeon hd 4850, did you make any progress in running the game .. ?

So i have that error message for quite some time and clicking 'ok' has always ran the game for me fine so far.

But i just went back to check my graphic card's version and realise that bf4  detected a different version of my graphics card than what i have currently.

Error Message: "Detected AMD Radeon driver version 13.9. The recommended driver version is 13.12 or later. Please update your blah blah blah..."

My Driver version is 13.152.1.8000. so i dont know whats going on here

You should be running a driver newer than eight months old, no matter what number you think that it is.

Any driver from 2013 is too old.
