PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE FIX SCOUT CLASS!!!

I've been using the Lawrence of Arabia which has 100 damage & 100 accuracy yet shots to the upper chest - head area are only giving damage readings in the 70-80 range!!  I hit two separate opponents from about 15 yards apiece on the Amiens map and got damage readings of 77 & 72 respectively.  This is UNACCEPTABLE for a weapon with specs of 100 damage & 100 accuracy from that range.  Those should be one shot kills!!  We're being penalized when we put very good shots on target because the other guy just turns around and kills you with a Lewis Gun or MP18.

And in other situations:

1.  Some of the shots are NOT even registering when I know I have the sight on the opponent

2.  The rifle pauses and/or won't fire

Please address this ASAP as it's frustrating as all get out!

Rifles have a certain range they will 1 shot.  some will be like 70 to 80 meters for the sweet spot. Depends on the rifle and the distance to target. if the player is to close it will not and if they are beyond the sweet spot they lose damage. Check the range of dropoff for the sweet spot. this should show in weapon select.

JackFrags has a good video on the subject on Youtube

Wait, did you say "if you're too close it will not".  That makes no sense.....the closer you are the MORE damage they should have!

  • This is not a technical issue you need help with from fellow gamers. This is feedback on gameplay mechanics and thus belongs on the forums on Battlefield.com

Locking thread before this spins out of control.
