I am not using any mods for BF1.
I was using the Frosty Mod Manager during Origin as a way to actually launch the game.

I have disabled all mods from Battlefront II restarted my computer. i am still running into the same issue.

I had the very same error but was able to sort it.
I have found that after EA play my battlefront II mods were no longer working so i used a tool called frosty fix, in the menu of this tool you can choose a game and enable mods globally/
I have a feeling that If you did this for battlefront II then this will have done it for everything on EA play i think.
I tested this theory out by adding this game to frosty mod manager, going into frosty fix and enabling mods globally for battlefield 1. I then launched the game through frosty mod manager and it is now working fine. I hope someone else finds this useful 🙂
