    As this issue seems to have been resolved with new drivers I'll mark this thread as solved now.

I get the feeling this does not seem to be happening so much for me lately.  

I am using the latest AMD Beta driver (13.11 b9.5)

I currently have a 5850 but have a 280X in the post (hopefully arriving tomorrow).  

I run the 32bit version because I have other issues with the 64bit version.

Played about 4 or 5 rounds each one on a different map and my memory usage stayed low.

Specs are:

AMD Athlon II x4 640

16GB DDR3 Memory

AMD Radeon 5850

Main drive is an SSD but the game runs off a standard spinny disc.

So any point playing yet, this thread has slowed down, I presume from everyone just giving up
