Problems encountered in Battlelog and In-Game.

Hi,

I have recently purchased the gae and the premium membership. However, since then I have encountered a few problems. The three problems are inconsistencies in Battlog regarding the campaign, significant lag encountered while playing in-game and random "killed in action" while playing in-game. I will now elaborate on these areas below.

First, I completed the campaign shortly after purchasing the game. This included collecting all the collectibles (dog tags and weapons) and completing the assignments. I did this all on hard. When I go to the battelog various information is incorrect. This includes: the total amount of collectibles possible to achieve (showing more than is possible), the number collected is incorrect (e.g. collected all but only shows 2/3) and the assignments completed (e.g completed all but only shows 6/8).

Second, since playing on multiplayer I have often experienced lag spikes. To elaborate, I might be moving in a direction (or doing something else) when, all of a sudden, my view jumps around - forward, backward and side-to-side - for a few seconds. Once this ceases I am left standing roughtly 10 meters (3 foot) backwards. I have attempted a few solutions. I have over-clocked my PC, I have reduced the resolution and I have joined games with a smaller population. None of this has worked. Now, I understand that it still might be my PC or it could be the internet/ISP. However, my question is, could this be a problem with the game?

Finally, I was recently playing on this map with all desert (I forget the name) and I was driving a tank. While I was driving I was experiencing lag spikes (which I will explained above). Lastly, the lag spike finished with the tank being blown up and the cause being "killed in action". This is the first and only time I have experienced this. Also, I feel it is important to point out that all this occured on flat ground.

Overall, I have experienced very few problems. I was quite nervous after hearing of all the issues other people have been having. I hope we can help each other to enable a better experience for everyone.

Thank you for your assistance,

Joel

Those are all problems that the community are experiencing and they have been sent to DICE. Regarding "Killed in action" if you played BF3 being KIA is the new "Bad Luck" where you die from the environment or even randomly.

On the lag side DICE has implemented several server side patched that have greatly reduced the lag but it still happens from time to time. This problem will most likely continue to be addressed with future patches.

Out of curiousity, by what means to you gain your knowledge that DICE is attempting to fix the lag problem (i.e. did you read an informative forum or do you work for EA/DICE?).

Also, I assume that not everyone is experiencing the lag spikes. If so, do you know of a way to fix/reduce them?

Joel I follow and interact with DICE devs on Twitter, I read the Battlelog Command Center where DICE makes official patch notes announcements, and I read the forums as well as announcements from our EA mods here on the Answer HQ regarding current issues.  I also play BF4 on 4 out of the 5 platforms available and many players (I can't say every player) on all platforms have experienced lag spikes and rubberbanding lately across all platforms.  Luckily these have been greatly reduced after DICE released several server side patches (the patch notes specifically listed fixes for lag\freezing in the past) but it is still happening.

this is not a solution, the problem is still there.
