Pointing everything to Open Dns did not do the trick but was not a complete waste of time due to the research I dug up about Mediacom's DNS shortfalls. I suggest everyone using Mediacom to find a different DNS service!
As far as the game is concerned, fix this **** EA!

i spoke with an i.t. professional yesterday about the problem and some possible solutions and his thoughts were that "there is a problem with an isp's dns somewhere"... that being said he said it would take "time" to track it down...unexceptable are my thoughts... dice has a responsiblity to fix this, and since this is the only way to get word to them about this problem, i say start a new thread and tell EA your isp and your current dns settings...
- I believe the link between BF4 and the PS network profile/ID for those of us still having the issue has been broken (corrupted) permanently. EA will say they will not be able to fix the issue without us starting new accounts and losing everything. Hope I am wrong.....
