Nothing to do with your he'd, that is incidental. Almost everyone across the board is having an issue with not being able to log on today after installing that stupid patch. They are doing a good job on not responding .... Maybe they see the writing on the wall and they're about to change there names.

The thing is I have removed the HDD and I can play MP again with no issues. Even after 1. 04 so it seems to conflict with the upgrade. I wonder how many others with super slims or even those who have upgraded Are having the same issues?

It sounds like a PS3 hardware issue. Have you contacted Sony or been to the Sony forums to see if others have had similar issues and what they did to fix their issue?

  Thanks for the reply, I should have said that I have no problems playing other games with it in, including GTA 5 which has a massive download and would demand more of the hardware and HDD. So to me it points towards the game itself.
