12 years agoThis is odd. Your PS4 may be faulty. Before coming to that conclusion you should try to be sure its not a bad cable etc.
Try the following troubleshooting to eliminate certain things.
- Uninstall and reinstall the game
- Try a different HDMI cable.
- Try playing on another TV, at your mates' house etc.
- Try different display settings from the PS4 menus.
- Are you using some adapter on the cable coming from the PS4?

12 years agoThanks for the reply, eabarry. I agree, it certainly is odd. I've run through the troubleshooting suggestions you made:
- I've uninstalled the game three or four times now since the problem occurred. On each occasion, it made no difference to the issue itself.
- Switched HDMI cables. No change. They run straight from the PS4 to the TV, so no adapter to worry about.
- Fiddled with the display settings, taking it down to 1080i, 720p. Other than the resolution being lower, didn't have any affect.
- Lastly, I tried the PS4 out on a different TV in the house today. Smaller TV, still full HD. Same issue. I also changed the display settings, but again, to no avail.
This being the case, is the issue more likely to be a hardware fault than a software issue? If so, I'll contact Sony and request a replacement. I just wanted to cover all the bases first.
Thanks, again.

It does at this point seem more likely to be a hardware issue. Do contact sony and follow any troubleshooting steps they may request you to perform.
