PS4 store shows BF4 Second Assault purchased/installed, but in-game it is not recognized.

Premium member. Inside the add-ons, it lists Second Assault as 'download complete'. When I start BF4, the game will not let me join a Second Assault map. Only has the option to Purchase DLC.

I've shut-down the game and restarted several times. How can I get the game to sync and recognize the content is there?

I'm having the same problem. Thought the data was corrupt so I've deleted the download and reinstalled at least 5x since the release of the DLC with a hard drive defrag between each iteration. Interestingly enough everything else about the game works fine; even the DMR and Pistol shortcuts (that accompanied the title update/DLC) are displaying/working properly. Wish I knew what gives...talk about complete and utter frustration.

OK I've figured it out and it's a simple 1 minute  fix. Please spread around much as possible and hit the XP button below if it works for you too or whatever we need to do so this stays on top:

    >>Sign in to your PSN through your PS4.
    >>Scroll all the way right to the "Settings Tab". (Looks like a briefcase)
    >>Go into the PSN symbol. (Third Icon down)
    >>Restore Licenses.
    >Click Restore.

Not sure why I didn't think of it sooner considering my background in IT, but when you download lots of content from the web the licenses can sometimes be crossed on your system. Who would have thunk it right? I'll see you on the Battlefield!

  • Followed your directions for Restoring Licenses and it worked to fix the problem I had with the Sub accounts not being able to access Second Assault on the PS4.

    Thanks

Excellent. Pretty simple and it works. Thank you
  • That's great, it helped immediately. But, why do I even have to do this at all? I didn't see any information when I bought the DLC Second Assault telling me this was necessary or may be a problem. That is the first time in the history of any game I have played DLC with that that had happened. I had to come online and search for an answer. Just put in the info before I purchase it. This is a an unfortunate waste of my time, Dice, Origin, EA or whoever this may concern.
