PunkBuster issue on Battlefield 2142 while using windows 8.1?

I picked up batlefield 2142 a year ago (roughly) and punk buster stopped me from playing it. I want to get back to playing i but obviously it keeps kicking me. Can anyone tell me how to fix this issu...

I'm having this exact same problem trying to play 2142 with my win 8.1.

I'm pretty upset that ea has not responded AT ALL being that 2142 is still my favorite game and i have been palying it since it came out.
