Question about being a sniper

My question is about zeroing in on the sniper rifles.  example: so if I set my zeroing in spot at 300 meters and the enemy is only 150 meters will i overshoot?  basically what I am saying is that I...

    Hi @Solo1_747 yes that's how it works. The zeroing distance will adjust your scope to compensate for bullet drop. So Set it at 300 meters and your target is around that distance, putting your crosshairs on your target will result in a hit. But if the target is say at 100 meters you will indeed overshoot, so you need to reduce your zeroing distance to match your engagement range if you want to hit deadcenter of your crosshair.
