Sorry it's been so long, I've tried a bunch of other steps and then gave up on BF4, bought Star Wars Battlefront recently and noted that it's been having the exact same crashes. Tried a bunch of fixes for that, including those listed here, to no avail (last thing I tried for Battlefront was put everything related on compatibility mode for Win7 and running as administator, as well as installing driver 362.00 through the steps above - I thought this may have worked since I managed to play 5 rounds in a row or so without crashing, but then it happened again the next day).
I don't know if there's any fix for this crash, though at least it seems I'm not the only one experiencing exactly this. Seems to be only people with Nvidia cards using Win10 and with these DICE games, though my friend who plays with me who fits under all 3 of those categories doesn't ever have this happen.
Edit: I should note that at one point I found 2 old .dll Nvidia driver files dated around the end of February I think (which was right around the time I started getting these crashes, so I was hopeful) that I couldn't delete without modifying the folder system permissions, which happened to be system32, which I didn't think about the consequences for. So... after reinstalling Windows successfully, those files weren't there anymore, but I was still getting the crashes.
BF1 experiencing the exact same crash, game will freeze suddenly and crash to desktop.

I doubt EA would let me return the game but if I can, I should probably try. This happens with BF4 and Battlefront too, so I'm assuming it would affect BF3 as well. Something to do with these DICE games specifically, and then only during multiplayer it seems. No other stress-test or game has problems with anything in my system.
