Re: Battlefield 1 character often suddenly stops moving

For anyone finding this thread and looking for a solution; I've found it! (and it also applies to the same bug in BFV)

This is the solution (big thanks to Boc_nt for posting this!)

SOLUTION: This is an issue with Origin In-Game Overlay. For some reason I could not disable the overlay using the Origin options, but I managed to disable the overlay completely by deleting or renaming 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin\igo64.dll'. Note this will disable the overlay for all your Origin games and the file may need to be renamed/deleted after every Origin update.

I also disabled Steam overlay and re-installed origin (removing the Steam installed client with Geek uninstaller and re-downloading off Origin's website) - these things may be worth trying if the above solution does not work for you.

    Battlefield 1 cog weal - Under game properties > General you can disabled Origin in-game.

    @EA_Atic nah yo * is buggin out, cant disable origin ingame trough Apllication settings or game properties
