Hi @nickscaz,
That may be simply because the servers are getting a bit overloaded right now but, you can enable safe mode downloading to see if that helps.
Click on the word ORIGIN at the top of the client.
Choose Application Settings.
Click on Diagnostics in the settings panel.
Turn Safe mode downloading ON.
Try to download the game.
