Re: Battlefield 1 low GPU usage at distance (not bottleneck)

Yes...several times...using the control panel I uninstalled each nvidia driver then I tried downloading the driver through geforce experience and nvidia site...I also made a fresh installation of windows every time I bought a new piece of hardware.

  • Thank you for the help...unfortunately I have tried almost every setting on Nvidia control panel (V-sync, max prerendered frames, ambient occlusion, power management mode etc.)...yet nothing seems to work...do you think the problem might be the single channel RAM?....but then again I didn't have any problems with my previous GPU...

I have not had only 1 memory stick in a computer myself but I've heard several instances of frostbite engine powered games where 1 memory stick can cause lower than expected performance. It also makes sense that the GPU is not working as fast as it can if it doesn't get the data from the ram quickly enough.

In short, buying a single stick of 16GB was probably a mistake, 2x8 is what most recommend for a reason ☹️
