Edit: got it working by deleting the entire profiles folder. It created a new 1 which appears to work

Go to My documents/Battlefield 2/Proflies/0001 folderm, and there you will find video.**bleep** file.

    Open it with notepad.

    Find next line:

    VideoSettings.setResolution 800x600@60Hz

Change value 800x600@60Hz, put the resolution that you have, in my case 1024x768@60Hz.

    It works for me.

    Sorry about my english.

No.  "Platform" refers to the physical device, not any variety of software.

Once consoles are eliminated (I know of Xbox 360, not others, but have never been interested in gaming any way other than on PCs, so likely missed more such), a black screen suggests looking into GPUs, graphics drivers, and power supply adequacy.

  • Same problem, i tried it all, and nothing....updated my videoboard, sound software, restart PC, unninstal and reinstal, what now EA GAMES? Help us pls..
