If it's in your game library on your Origin profile you do own it. Have you right clicked the BF3 and installed the game yet? After the game is installed you shouldn't get that error.

I already had it installed due to a friend using my computer to play. Think that could be the issue? Not sure if his version was different or not.

The install wasn't the problem. There's something more to it. Anyone got any ideas???
