Re: Battlefield occupying 100% of the processor

Had a similar problem with BF3 a few months back, try the steps below to see if they fix it for BF4 as well... @mestrefantasma. If it doesn't work, switch it back to normal.

  • Open Task Manager
  • Join Server
  • Wait for BF4 to start, but don't click into it yet.
  • Change CPU Priority for BF4.exe to low in Task Manager (Right click on it)
  • Close Task Manager then click into BF4 and see if it still happens.

    unfortunately the problem still persists, but I appreciate the help, and other members who are reading the post if they have any tips than any of acimas listed may manifest, however bizarre it is'll be testing and answered and it got some success.
    I thank all who have helped so far but still in search of the battlefield without bugs

    then people finally discovered exactly o'que was causing the problem and got contornalo, lags were caused by the windows 10 Directx12 somehow the problem occurs even switching to Mantle WHAT caused me false impression that was not the API, I managed to solve installing Windows 10 SDK, after intalled using the command DXCPL open the DirectX configuration options selected the aplicatico (if the bf4.exe) there switched to Directx11.1, and lags have been resolved, yet thanks for support all because it was not easy to find the solution
