Re: Battlelog says I'm in game but I'm not

It seems to be a pretty common issue for people who downloaded Anniversary Update of Windows 10. Did you get it recently by any chance?

Anyway,

  1. Go to the location where your BF4 saves are C:\Documents\Battlefield 4\settings
  2. Open "PROFSAVE_profile" with Wordpad or Notepad++ - personally I prefer the latter, it's clearer.
  3. There are 3 lines that will have to be modified: Below I have pasted these lines together with values they should be changed to. Usuall they are next to each other, but it not, then just press Ctrl+F and type part of line to find it.
    GstRender.FullscreenEnabled 1
    GstRender.FullscreenMode 0
    GstRender.FullscreenScreen 0

That should do it. The process for Hardline is pretty much identical, the only difference is that you have to access the Hardline folder in Documents.

    Thanks for the response!

I tried doing that for both BF4 and BFH and now I'm having a new issue, when I try to join a server in Battlelog it remains stuck on "Joining Server" and doesn't do anything else (the .exe doesn't even open up). I have tried clearing my browser's cache and running repair installs for both games but no luck so far.

Hi, I had the same issue, and I did the stuff spitfiresiemion said. And had the exact same problem as you. I may have found a solution however, I went into Origin and repaired BF4/BFH, hope that fixes it.

Thanks for the response, but I already mentioned that I'd run repair installs for both games to no avail. ☹️
