Re: bf1 crashes on fullscreen

@DaddyNss Could you please try to disable Origin in game overlay in Application Settings of Origin and in Game Properties in your Library and check the game?

If that doesn't help, try to delete a PROFSAVE_profile file in Documents>>Battlefield 1 >> Settings and try to run a clean boot on your PC https://help.ea.com/tr/help/faq/how-to-clean-boot-your-pc/ In case if there is a conflict between some process and Battlefield 1 in your system

sorry but can't test that because a new problem showed up :I.the game doesn't launch anymore.when i start it a black screen appears then the program stopped working pops up and there's no option but to close the game. i repaired with origin but didn't help(does that ever help?).

    i'm getting:

Faulting application name: bf1.exe, version: 1.0.50.17863, time stamp: 0x593ec790
Faulting module name: d3d11.dll, version: 10.0.15063.0, time stamp: 0x6a789089
        Exception code: 0xc0000005
        Fault offset: 0x00000000000d20da
        Faulting process id: 0x3220

    on event viwer

    i'll add the dxdiag

  • i think i know the problem.looks like bf1 is not the only game that doesn't launch anymore.all my games crash on startup.it the windows update.i'll update the post when i have installed a new version of windows 10(probably tommorow)

alright.i restored my windows back to the point that my games ran fine and now my other games (titanfall 2 ,rainbow 6 siege) are fine.

i disabled origin in game and removed the profsave files and also did the clean install of my graphics drivers and tried running a clean boot but none of them worked.

now i'm getting a new error :I .i'll add a picture of the error with a new dxdiag file(in case its needed) i'll also add the error from the event viewer.

  • Well,i ended up doing a clean install of windows(removing all files and apps)and it worked.it fixed the problem now the game runs fine.

Thank you @DaddyNss for sharing those great news with us! Clean Windows install might not be the perfect solution, but sometimes it is the only one. Enjoy the game now and let us know if there is anything else we can do for you.

    Cheers,

    Archi
