Re: BF1 is full of hackers

Hello @masses26

Thank you for reporting cheaters. Let  me assure you, every single report about unfair play is investigated and measures are taken against cheaters on the daily basis.  Our joined efforts will help to make Battlefield 1 even better.

Cheers,

Archi

    Hi Archi,

    Good to hear that as i don't receive any feedback on the reported issues.

    Just hope your development team find a better solution to stop the cheating.

    Cheers,

    masses26

    @masses26

    We are always working on improving our services and games. And Battlefield 1 is too damn good to let those cheaters ruin it for anyone!

    Keep on fighting and see you on the battle field!

    Archi

  • then if bf1 is too damn good, stop nerfing the grenades, the aa's, etc... do something about the campers, not recon, but the players who sit there waiting for their enemy, hurts and ruins the game for all who have paid.  or this is my last investment. had enough.

  • I'm guessing this is more of a PC issue, we don't see too much of it on PS4.

  • I've just read your comment Archi, and I believe you're talking rubbish. Tell us what EA is actually doing about hackers, instead of just paying lip service to the problem.

    Tis game is superb, but has become unplayable now because of these people. I have given up playing because you cannot enjoy it and have some fun.

    Seems like you've taken the money and let the game be taken over by these termites. And cheap, the game is not.

    EA has let the game become a faulty product, not the same as when good people purchased it.

    Tell people what you're going to do about it, or you will lose business on this and future EA games.

    Its now July and these comments were written in April. Tell us where you're at, I guess the answer is nowhere.

    Irecently emailed EA customer service with same subject matter, and they didn't have the courtesy to answer.

    I will not buy any future EA products, until you can guarantee honest people will be able to enjoy your games.

    Hello @DanDaragan

    I know how frustrating playing with hackers can be, and believe me, then I am saying we are doing our best to protect our fair players from them. I am really sorry, but I can`t reveal any details on how our system operates, since this might undermine it. Let me assure you, hackers and  cheaters are punished on a daily basis. Thank you for your concern and for those warm words toward Battlefield 1 in general. These words mean a lot to us.

    Cheers,

    Archi

    i  have  been  reading  this  with  interest , EA needs  to  do  something  about  this  problem of  hackers  i have allso  reported  hackers ,honest  game  players  are paying  for   the  game too  but  to be  honest i will  think about  ever purchasing  any  other PC  titles, i think  the only way  to  stop  the hacking is to  have  the  sites  that  premote and  sell  the  hacks  to  people online  at a monthly fee to be  closed  down  i believe   that  blizzard  did  a  simlar  thing. there are  hack  sites  boasting  that non of  there  members have   been banned  since battlefield 1  was  released ,can i  allso  add i have  allso  purchased  battlefront 2  which allso is infested   with   hackers and   makes online  play  imposible to  enjoy .

    I have reported people and given details of how they are cheating and then seen them playing a week later.

    Can anyone from EA confirm that they are still banning hackers as it doesn't seem like they are doing anything anymore?

    @MujiXxX and the rest

    EA is still and always was giving appropriate punishments for cheating, nothing has changed. I know you all think that nothing is being done because you dont see the process but trust me a lot of stuff is being done to combat cheaters. So please just continue to report and you will be making a difference.

    If you have any suspected players to report, see this page here and submit as much proof as possible: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/report-players-for-cheating-abuse-and-harassment .

    If you have any cheats, websites and so on to report, see this page here and submit as much info as possible: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/how-to-report-cheat-hack-scam-websites-to-ea .

    Since this thread is quite old now and has been answered several times already, I will be closing/locking it down here. Please also do not name and shame on the forums as that is not allowed, as well as use profanity and go around the forum filters.
