I've found the fix, anything other has not worked.
Run bf3 from origin and wait for the battlelog to launch, don't join any server yet. Once battlelog has opened go offline on origin. Now you can join any server!

This worked the other day and now it did not, so I went on searching and it seems like disabling login verification inside Account and Privacy did the trick!Can confirm, that this solution works. Thanks, you just took me back to 2010.
IT says that the servers are down right now. Can anyone confirm?
