Like he said, if you do not have an actual backup then the answer is no I am afraid. Start new but use different guns and strats, I find this helps make it less of a grind.

I merged two threads here - as mentioned by @Navigando , the campaign progress can be stored locally or in the Xbox cloud, but it's unfortunately not stored on EA servers. The online multiplayer progress however is stored online and will be synced the next time you join a multiplayer game.
