I have not, but the shift+f1 does nothing.  That's the default that I left in Origin.  By the way, nice quick reply.  Most impressive, EA.

You may have to enable it first.

    1. Close the game.

    2. Open up Origin > Application Settings > Origin In-Game

    3. Select "Enable Origin In Game"

Start the game again and you should be good to go.

Let me know how it goes.

Do you have any other software currently running that has an overlay function?

I'd suggest to try a clean boot to make sure nothing else in running in the background that may be interfering: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135

Now, I get major stutter when Origin broadcasting is enabled. Ugh.

Try turning off v-sync (vertical sync).

And some more general suggestions from the BF4 Troubleshooting Info:

Lowering your Broadcast Resolution, your Picture Quality, or both can result in a better gameplay experience when broadcasting your online play through Twitch:

    • Launch Battlefield 4 and open Origin In-Game by pressing Shift and F1.
    • Select the Camera icon to open your Twitch menu and login to your account.
    • Select the Advanced Settings tab to find the Broadcast Resolution and Picture Quality settings.

It is off.  It's a different kind of stuttering though.  Every few seconds it'll freeze for a few more seconds and the sound of a broken record player.  On the flip side, OBS works perfectly now!
