Re: BF4 DOESNT INSTALL

Please check the version of Origin installed on your PC. A version later than 3.x is required.

To rectify:

  1. Try to run the client as administrator.
  2. Go to www.origin.com/download
  3. Download and install the latest version of Origin (and make sure you have your Origin account ready as well)
  4. Then add Origin into windows firewall and anti-virus software's white list, direct to folder C:\Program Files\Origin Games
  5. Make BF4 folder writeable

If that doesn't help, you can try to use the Cloud storage function from Origin or reinstall the origin client and install the latest version as mentioned in point 2.

If you running on a Windows 7 64bit system, you can try to run the Client under the Windows 7 compatibility mode. The Windows 7 compatibility mode is running as x86, and helped in a few cases to solve this issue.

Please let us now, if this problem after this workaround still exist.

And by the way, cpt. capslock will not come to save your installation.

Cheers
Basti
