Re: BF4 ping issue

Hi @zekalanja, when you are in game playing and you go to the Options screen to test for your server connection, you dont actually benchmark up against the actual server box that you play on.  You measure your ping towards a 'back-end' default server box that EA has setup for that purpose in your region.  This is the reason why you typically will get the same ping test result when testing this 'in-game' on same day while playing on various BF4 servers.

You should however be able to get a better idea about your internet connectivity and latency if you log onto Battlelog and use this to browse servers and find the specific one(s) that you want to check your personal connectivity to.  I have enclosed an example of how this typically will show up!

When in game the system test within 'Options' tells me that I have a ping rate of 19mSecs. (as it does, when I just after try also when in game on other servers in Europe)  While when I use the Battlelog on my PC and use the Server Browser/Search function then the same server now indicate that my ping rate to it is 24mSecs.

I believe that this figure is what is used to list the green/yellow/red bars when you in-game search for game servers to join, and you have these bars-indicator to the right side of the server name listed.  Indicating 'roughly' what your ping/connection quality will be to that server.  As indicated by the color and number of bars listed.

Hope this was of some help to you!
