Many feel, including me, see M&K on console as a form of cheating or at least gaining an unfair advantage over controller users.

I'm intrigued why you feel this way, please mind to elaborate?

It's simple really, the control one gains by using the the entire arm and hand on a mouse is far superior that using just your thumb on a joystick.

To move right for example, is just one movement for a mouse to the right.

With a joystick, it requires a movement right but then a movement left back to centre.

M&K can still use scripts.

For such an anti Aim Assist advocate, I'm surprised that you support a superior aiming device, bizarre.....

So does some controllers with auto fire and auto jump.

Ppl will cheat no matter what.

But I would suggest you to go try Cod Mw with m&k and then come back here saying it's an advantage.

Why it's true I'm against the use of aim assist in video games without special considerations, I'm not at all biased towards input devices. I'm perfectly happy with using a controller without aim assist against someone using a mouse & keyboard, but that's only my opinion, I'm not at all trying to affect other people's beliefs.

I'm what you call a true, unbiased person or try to be, I'm only human. I don't care what others do or use themselves, as long as they don't try to pass it off as "the best" quote. Just because I use something, Why would someone else want to?

I'm a personal believer that each individual is unique. Saying a mouse & keyboard is superior is something I can't come to terms with. Writing off a human input device as definitive goes against everything I know.

I'm a music producer by day, gamer by night. I've been playing piano for 20+ years, I use all manner of devices. What works for me, doesn't necessarily mean it will for the next person.

I think that's why most people come back at me with rhetorical replies. They have never conveyed with a truly unbiased person. My arguments are not meant to be taken as an attack, but more on the means of my personal opinion, nothing more.

With gaming being mostly a relaxing enjoyment of free pass time, I say let everyone enjoy their input device of choice, without affecting others.

  • Lets equally hope then that PunkBuster, VAC, Battleye and the whole army of anti cheats are enabled from Day 0, to take good care of all those MnK peddlers.  :o)

BFV didn't have native support when it came to M&K so it'll be interesting to see what thry do with BF6 - Of course, we'll know more when they finally do decide to share.

As for if it offers an advantage or not, well, I believe it all depends on the type of game you're playing. Sniping in general would be a night and day difference with a mouse compared to controller - the ability to fine adjust your aim is obvious

  • These seems over the top complaints about playing against native M+k or even crossplay.

PC users now for BF4/1/v have had controller and m+k players, even both at the same time.

Any one who has played at EA play or E3 events is playing PC with controllers.

It is not new nor is it domination by one over the other.
