Re: bluetooth audio BF4

Hey @frenkie61 even those these solutions below are for different games they should still be able to work for BF4.

https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues/Sound-issues/m-p/6408420/highlight/true#M91

https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues/No-sound-bf5-for-PC/m-p/7171292/highlight/true#M1220

https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues/BF5-no-sound-after-1-05-update/m-p/7268396/highlight/true#M5335

Another thing that is super easy to do: Right-click on BF4 in Origin and select "Repair."

Hope that helps, keep us updated!

Hi, I know this thread is a bit old but I wanted to say that I find it miserable that the solution is to change the way your main computer components are set up. One of the offered solutions is to disable every audio device on your machine except the one you want to use. This doesn't seem like something an AAA developer should force you to do.

  • my game completely disables the sound over bluetooth once booted in game or in menus. once the game starts up i have no music from spotify chrome goes silent even windows chimes, but i don't have this issue with my wired headphones.

Ive tried all the solutions posted, with no success:

tried disabling every audio device except the one in use.

tried Updating / reinstalling audio drivers

    & i Tried repairing BF4.

    what else can i try?

I'm closing this thread to stop it from being necroed.

If you have any issues with Battlefield, please make a new topic about your problems and what kind of steps you have tried to solve them.
