Re: boosting

OP as nooberis said boosting can result in getting all of your stats wiped, and if you continue to boost they can ban your account from all EA games, not just BF3\BC2.  Bottom line is that is isn't worth it and it's not fair to the guys out there earning their stuff via game play.

i dont help him anymore so im not boosting.

Is this info coming from EA/Dice or what you think will happen??

Also if it is true....how are they going to tell us how we should play the game we paid for. If my friend wants to pay 60 bucks for a game and not enjoy it to its full potential by ranking up and playing and putting in time.....then thats his falut. I dont understand why its iligal. He is the only one that is losing out not everyone else.

I want to hear it from them that YES it is against the law....and i dont know what OP is or nooberis mean????

    i suggest read this:

    Regarding stat resets -

Before creating a thread about it, inviting the flaming by others that is SURE to happen, check your email.

If you were reset for boosting, stat-padding or other game-exploits, you received an email from the anti-cheat team (which investigates thoroughly) explaining you've been reset due to being caught for these TOS violations. Further violations can cause you to be permanently banned from Battlefield 3.

Therefore, it's best not to post in this case to prevent harassment. Also, the community members can't change your stats. If you truly feel your stats are lost, NOT RESET due to cheating, Contact Us at http://help.ea.com [help.ea.com] for assistance.

(Please note: This is not an accusatory post, but rather information. For more info, check your email or Contact a Game Advisor.)

  • my stats are fine i have nothelped my friend since like march of this year. I have no problem saying this because i didnt know it was wrong. I was only doing what everyone else was doing in the BC2 community. I whave like 100 messeges asking if i could help them with a trophy or a pin for BC2.

Again i was just curious, so if my friend ever got BF3 i would know if i should help him or not. Now i know not to.

But you guys have been nice enough to answer my questions. i would like to clerify.....We helped each other get pins and patches to get the trophies. Like destruction 2.0...i must have helped a dozen people get that. I had like 5 random people i didnt know helping me with that. There was a knifing room where you went in and got your knife your friend 5 times trophy. Is that against the rules....

i know its kind of riding the line there but an answer would be greatful. i wasnt sure if that was considered bosting.

  • i know you guys are used to dealing with jerks...but i am trying to have an honest conversation with you guys. If am wrong then just say it....with an explanation would be nice.

I follow the rules. So all you have to do is tell me.

Its seems that no one likes talking about this stuff including EA and Dice. Sorry for using the forums where is says answer HQ or where it tells me to go if i have ANY questions.
